A paper by AT&T Researcher Kevin Li along with CMU collaborators explores how multimodal cues—including feedback from a haptic steering wheel—can convey navigation information to drivers, particularly older drivers. At the Workshop on Pervasive Urban Applications, AT&T Researchers will present early studies into using cellular devices to understand when and where people use urban green spaces.
